Disciplinary Committee
"No horse gets anywhere until he is harnessed. No stream or gas drives anything until it is confined. No Niagara is ever turned into light and power until it is tunneled. No life ever grows great until it is focused, dedicated, disciplined." - Harry Emerson Fosdick
Discipline is the basic principle behind the progress and smooth working of an individual, an organization and a nation. Hence we have established a "Disciplinary Committee" to transform individual student into responsible citizen. Disciplinary committee is composed of two students from each section of senior and junior MBA students and one faculty coordinator. We are proud to say that the disciplinary committee in MRIM is playing a vital role in the success of MRIM.
We have the practice of maintaining a "Late Register". Students who come late to the college enter their details in the Late Register. Every day after first session, messages are sent to the parents whose wards' are absent to the college. So that the parents are alerted and they can enquire with their ward about their absence. Thus students are disciplined towards time management.
Every week and month the late comings are analyzed and frequent late comers are counseled. So that late comings are minimized.
Every month , the list of students who are irregular to the college are identified and are counseled. Their parents are informed through phone, letters are sent about their ward's attendance status.
A separate Anti-ragging committee is formed to prevent ragging in the college. So that students feel a friendly environment in the college.
A Grievance redressal hierarchy is established to respond and resolve the grievances of the student as early as possible.
Committee meets at least twice a month to discuss the issues and find the solutions to the problems.
Welfare Committee
The word Welfare is the welfare of a person or group is their health, comfort and happiness. Welfare services are provided to help with people's living conditions and financial problems. In MRIM the main function of the committee members is to look after the facilities of the college like supply of drinking water, electricity, sanitation, class room facilities like checking the seating arrangement, and class room cleaning etc.
The Committee conducts the meetings twice per month and arranges the meetings when it is required to take immediate actions. The committee members have to check all the above said facilities regularly i.e. every week and when ever required the problems has to be bring to the notice of welfare committee coordinator and faculty member, so that all the repairs can be done. All the students have access to the committee members and they can complain or suggest new things to the committee members. So that all the students' get homely feelings with all the facilities which are provided to them and it reflects their health, happiness and satisfaction.
